let me cry

let me cry under this sullen oak
let me think of what you could be,
not what you are
then crush me with void words.
snicker at my longing--

that craving for your soul.

take the woolen cloak from my shivering back,
slide your slender toes into my boots.
it's time to pierce my naked chest and rend
my heart.
You hold my life. . .
now squeeze. . .
harder, tighter.
thank you
now don't forget to leave.
